PicoScope 9404A-25 25 GHz Sampler Extended Real Time Oscilloscope
The PicoScope 9404A-25 Sampler-Extended Real-Time Oscilloscope (SXRTO) brings cutting-edge performance to the PicoScope 9400 Series with an impressive 25 GHz bandwidth. This advanced oscilloscope combines real-time and equivalent-time sampling, making it a powerful tool for accurately capturing high-frequency signals up to 25 GHz. Designed for precision and reliability, it’s ideal for demanding applications in research, development, and advanced signal analysis.
What is a PicoScope SXRTO?
Similarly to a real-time oscilloscope (RTO), a PicoScope SXRTO triggers directly on the input signal but stands apart by using a dedicated analogue triggering circuit outside the main signal path to detect the trigger point. This approach provides far greater accuracy than the digital triggering used by most RTOs.
The design allows the ADC to operate continuously, capturing and storing data both before and after the trigger, while retaining the exceptional bandwidth performance of a sampling oscilloscope.
Why Choose an SXRTO?
- Digital System Design: With over 175 built-in masks for protocols like Ethernet, HDMI, and USB, you can ensure your system design is accurate from the outset, saving time and effort in development.
- Timing and Phase Analysis: Identify the source of timing errors with ease using the PicoScope 9400A’s ultra-low jitter of less than 1.5 ps. Histograms allow you to analyse and precisely characterise jitter for accurate diagnostics.
- Telecom and Radar Testing: Evaluate signal, pulse, and impulse integrity in RF systems up to 25 GHz. An SXRTO gives you the confidence your system meets the required standards before proceeding to costly compliance testing.
- Service and Manufacturing: Simpler and quicker to set up than a traditional sampling oscilloscope, an SXRTO is ideal for service environments. Save and load setup files for routine tests, reducing equipment repair times and increasing efficiency.
- Clock and Data Recovery Trigger Feature (Optional): The optional in-built CDR trigger on the PicoScope 9404A-25 SXRTO ensures precise clock recovery from high-speed serial data, enabling accurate triggering and analysis even when only the data signal is available, making it ideal for advanced eye and jitter measurements.
