The upgraded version of the FLIR TG54, this thermometer upgrades the standard capabilities of the TG54 to include the ability to measure surface temperatures both with and without direct contact (this version ships as standard with a type K thermocouple temperature probe which is used for direct contact measurements whenever higher accuracy is required).

FLIR's TG56 is an infrared thermometer - using the built-in laser pointer, you can line up a measurement spot and calculate temperature from a distance. The distance-to-spot ratio of this thermometer is 24:1; you can use it at a distance of up to 24 inches away for measurement spot of 1 inch.

In infrared mode, the TG56 can measure temperature levels from -30 to +650°C. By using the included type K thermocouple probe the TG56 can be used to measure temperature across the same range but with direct contact with the surface.

This infrared and contact digital thermometer is packed with functionality including high and low visual alarm system, a MIN/MAX measurement mode, bright worklight for use in darkened lighting conditions and a rugged, industrial-grade case which can withstand drops up to a height of 3m!
